Beverly Hills Conference and Visitors Bureau (BHCVB) today announced an exclusive partnership with the China International Culture Association (CICA) for its fifth annual Chinese New Year celebration on Sunday, January 31, 2016. The evening event, which will be held at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills will feature traditional cultural performances directly from Beijing’s finest performance artists and troupes.
“We are honored to partner with the China International Culture Association again this year to showcase the country’s cultural arts performances during our fifth annual Chinese New Year celebration in Beverly Hills,” said Julie Wagner, Chief Executive Officer, BHCVB. “Last year’s sold-out event was a great success, so having opportunity to bring back China to Beverly Hills is an honor.
Hotels in Beverly Hills will continue the celebration by offering special Chinese New Year packages throughout the month of February. Offerings include special Chinese services and amenities such as Chinese tea, slippers upon arrival, in-room Chinese breakfast dining options, almond and sesame cookies, as well as Chinese newspapers delivered to rooms daily. Chinese guests will feel even more welcome in Beverly Hills as the hotels throughout the city also have Mandarin speaking staff on site. Participating hotels include The Beverly Hilton, Beverly Wilshire, a Four Seasons Hotel, L’Ermitage Beverly Hills, Montage Beverly Hills and Peninsula Beverly Hills to date.
BHCVB’s annual Chinese New Year celebrations reinforce Beverly Hills as an ideal travel destination for Chinese visitors. The yearly festivities have quickly become a highly anticipated event, both in China and in the greater Southern California region. This event marks the second consecutive year CICA has exclusively partnered with BHCVB to bring Chinese entertainment to Southern California for the city’s Chinese New Year celebration.
