Amway conducts MICE trip to Toronto for its Agents

unnamed9-300x200Amway, one of the leading companies in direct selling with over three million independent business owners (IBOs) in over 80 countries, chose Toronto as host city for their prestigious 2014 Leadership Seminar. Approximately 4000 Amway Distributors traveled to Toronto from across India in July over a two week period.

 

Toronto is one of the few cities in the world to have consistently been ranked at the top when it comes to global competitiveness, innovation and quality of life. It has a great tourism infrastructure as well as being home to one of the largest South Asian communities in the world. Toronto’s “Little India” has over a hundred authentic shops and restaurants catering to Indian tastes and the city is home to some of North America’s best attractions like Ripley’s Aquarium, Canada’s Wonderland, The Royal Ontario Museum and the CN Tower to name but a few. This coupled with a lively nightlife showcasing mainstream music at various major venues downtown along with local bars & watering holes that encourage independent musicians, makes the city an ideal destination for MICE groups. Of course the world famous Niagara Falls is still the major draw for any visitor to Toronto and a staple for every MICE event happening in the city.

The Amway group experienced the finest of Toronto and received a first-hand taste of Canadian hospitality. The group stayed at Shangri La and the Sheraton hotel where they participated in a business session. The trip also included a visit to Niagara Falls and the surrounding wine region famous for Ice wine, a farewell dinner at the unique All stream Centre and leisurely day at the Metro Toronto Zoo.
