The Amelia Island Convention and Visitors Bureau attained an extraordinary achievement at the 2023 Florida Governor’s Conference on Tourism that was arranged on Sept. 6 th till 8 th , grabbing five Flagler Awards for their excellent tourism marketing campaigns, comprising the much-admired Best of Show award.
In the categories like Social Media Marketing and Mobile Marketing, the CVB got victorious, earning two Henry Awards and the much desirable Best of Show trophy on Wednesday at the award ceremony organized on Sept. 6 th , at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida. Moreover, in the Print Advertising and Radio Advertising categories, the CVB got two Bronze Awards as well.
As an acknowledgment to the extraordinary accomplishment, the President and CEO of the Amelia Island CVB, Gil Langley, showed his pride in the constant and creative initiations of the team. He explained that once again, their amazing team has found its way onto the main stage where the award is given to be recognized among the best and brightest marketers in Florida, taking a well-earned bow as much for its steadiness in terms of its creativity. He added that they are proud to be privileged for their hard work and their promise to consolidating their local community through sustainable and strategic tourism.
