TKS Exhibition Services Ltd., organizer of the annual International Travel Expo Hong Kong (ITE) and MICE Travel Expo ANNOUNCED the co-operation with The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) in ITE & MICE 2014 to jointly host an Executive Forum on Corporate Travel for ACTE members and other executives involved in corporate travel.
This will include a tea reception and VIP tour particularly for facilitating further contacts and interactions of corporate travel managers and related exhibitors of the Travel Expo.
As an ITE & MICE Supporter, ACTE will also send invitations to members in Hong Kong and Guangdong for free visits to the Travel Expo during trade days. A similar Forum was held last year with much success, therefore the two parties will continue to expand upon their co-operation.
“Our members would welcome an Executive Forum and additional activities in an international travel fair like ITE MICE, as that makes their visits more efficient and cost effective”, said Benson Tang, ACTE Regional Director, Asia which strives to make business travel more productive, cost-effective and straightforward.
Founded in 1988, ACTE is a leading non‐profit organization that serves and advances the global business travel industry in 102 different countries. The education ACTE provides infiltrates to more than 12 million business travelers worldwide.

The last ITE & MICE drew around 2400 MICE / corporate visitors and over 6000 travel agents in the two trade days, and 680 international exhibitors out of which over 100 targeted MICE and corporate travel. In all, there were a total 11,872 buyers and regional trade visitors with 20 percent from mainland China particularly southern China throughout the two trade days, and 73,200 public visitors mainly from Hong Kong’s affluent FIT in public days.
ITE & MICE will be held from 12 to 14 Jun 2014 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (Halls 1A-1E). The first two days open only to the travel trade, MICE industry and corporate visitors with the second day designated as “MICE / Corporate Travel Day”.
Organized by TKS Exhibition Services Ltd., ITE & MICE is supported by China National Tourism Administration, Hong Kong Tourism Board, Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong and Macau Government Tourist Office, trade associations of travel agents and event industries from Hong Kong and in the region.
