SIMA ASEAN Thailand 2016 becomes mainstream for the agricultural industry

09030c8e-ee62-4d01-8e42-3f4ed52f9029-300x225Following the success of the first edition, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center together with COMEXPOSIUM orchestrates the 2 nd edition of SIMA ASEAN Thailand in 2016, the biggest and most distinguished international trade show for the agricultural industry in the ASEAN region from September 9-10, 2016 at Hall 5-6 of IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center.

 

 

Mr. Loy Joon How, General Manager of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., reveals that “The success of the 1 st edition of SIMA ASEAN Thailand in 2015 saw the participation of more than 300 leading companies and 13,200 professional trade visitors with the approximate revenue of 1 billion baht generated during the show, and the 2 nd edition promises more excitement and solidifies its reputation as the leading trade, networking and knowledge hub for ASEAN agri-businesses.”

Mr. Olan Pitak, Director General of Department of Agricultural Extension, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives said: “The Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives has focused on 4 key areas: reducing cost, increasing yields and production, organizing and managing, as well as marketing by using the ‘Single Command’ strategy gathering research results after which they are translated realistically into large agricultural plots in order to revolutionize the Thai agricultural industry towards greater stability and sustainability under good governance.”
