With Asia-Pacific repetitively proving itself as one of the fastest growing markets within the global MICE industry, and Japan achieving more than 13 million visitors – another record – in 2014, Sapporo Convention Bureau will organize the first of its kind Sapporo MICE Leaders Summit, an all-round meeting event, to discuss recent developments within Asia-Pacific and to seek possible ways for closer cooperation between the region’s key players.
Focused on the theme – Competition shift in Asia-Pacific and the new stage for regional cooperation, the program of the Summit will be composed of presentations and discussions between the key representatives from Asia-Pacific, providing a unique opportunity to share each other’s experiences and expertise within the MICE industry and to deepen our understanding of the challenges ahead. The event will also serve as a perfect occasion for closer networking between the regions’ experts and the local parties concerned.
Kicking it off big, Martin Winter, the CEO of Gold Coast Tourism Corporation will open the Summit with a key note lecture, focusing on how bidding for association business has evolved and how the most successful CVB’s are thinking to improve their success rate in the future.
Special thanks go out to all participating organization and ICCA for their continuous support and enormous contribution.
