Another event-first, the Retirement & Lifestyle Expo, will be coming to the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) from 26 – 28 February 2015. This is South Africa’s premier retirement and lifestyle event and promises to be bigger and better than before!
The event aims to showcase a powerhouse display of products and services for a range of retirement and lifestyle options, catering to the needs and expectations of those in retirement or planning for retirement.
The expo also offers an array of insightful exhibitions and workshops, which seek to attract a very specific audience to an informative, interactive and social environment. These exhibitions and workshops proved beneficial and quite popular at the first Retirement and Lifestyle Expo, which took place last year in Somerset West.
At the exhibition visitors will find a smorgasbord of retirement and lifestyle-related products and services, such as:
• property investment
• planning retirement and lifestyle
• financial and investment services
• life and medical insurance
“Due to a greater self-awareness and access to healthier options, advancements in medicine and improved lifestyle, each generation is living longer – emphasising the need for retirement planning and preparation. This unique event will bring together a broad range of specialists within this increasingly important sector. The expo and workshops, which will run for three days, have been extended to include a trade conference covering a range of topics at the heart of the retirement industry. The trade conference is intended to stimulate debate and open channels of communication for sharing and learning among those employed in the retirement industry”, concludes Julie-May Ellingson, CTICC Chief Executive Officer.
