Korea is returning to Melbourne this year to showcase the latest offerings for business events at the Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings EXPO (AIME) this coming February 17-19.

AIME is the leading trade event for the meetings and event industry in the Asia-Pacific region, delivering a three-day forum for qualified buyers and exhibitors to connect and do great business together while showcasing the latest meetings and incentives products. Those who visit the Korea Pavilion (Stand: KOREA 1) this year can expect to learn about Korea’s newest offerings for business events first hand, including the recently updated Korea UNIQUE Venues.

According to the UIA Global Statistics, Korea is a top destination for business events with a total of 890 international meetings hosted in 2018. Korea recently rolled out its updated MICE brand “Korea Unique Venues” introducing thirty world-class meeting venues. These venues have been selected according to their characteristics, usability, and willingness to open the place for business events. The updated list comes as a result of thorough re-evaluation of the original Unique Venues, refining the list to offer a better selection of recommended sites showcasing both traditional and trendsetting charms of Korea.

“We invite all AIME attendees to visit the Korea Pavilion and join us as we unravel to the international community our ever-growing range of valuable programs created to ensure outstanding meeting experiences in Korea,” said Woo Byonghee, Director of Convention Marketing Team at Korea MICE Bureau, Korea Tourism Organization.

This year, Korea will lead a delegation representing five private sectors, namely EXODUS DMC, CREVEN KOREA, Kim’s Travel Service, Holiday Planners and Conrad Seoul. AIME attendees visiting the Korea Pavilion (Stand: KOREA 1) can expect to discover Korea as a new and interesting MICE destination for their clients and find out more about various forms of competitive, quality services and support available to events hosted in Korea. On top of, visitors can try a number of Korean traditional cultural experience programs as well.
