International event planners to benefit from the Seoul’s new customized packages

In order to boost the Korean capital’s meetings industry Seoul has launched a newly-revamped PLUS SEOUL corporate meetings and incentive packages. International participants can enhance their experience through expanded options that customizes their locally-hosted events with more personalized branding and specially-tailored experiences.

 

 

 

In response to the increased overseas demand the added incentives will reflects Seoul’s strong government level commitment to boost the Korean capital’s meetings industry.

 

 

 

 

For events with 50-199 participants the customized features of PLUS SEOUL will include company-branded cakes and cookies. For 200-499 participants there will be team-building programs and entertainment and for 500-999 participants it can offer event-branding on bused and photo mosaic walls, there will be event videos and on-site Korean cosmetic booths for 1000 or more participants.

 

 

 

 

PLUS SEOUL will be benefitting corporate meetings and incentives including financial, promotional and operational support depending on event size and scope.
Earlier Allianz Life Indonesia had rewareded 2,000 of the top-achieving employees through cultural experiences and meetings. The buses were branded, there were K-pop performances and utilizations of Seoul MICE Alliance venues like the Dongdaemun Design Plaza.

 

 

 

Around 1,700 employees from Prudential Life Insurance Hong Kong were welcomed in the second quarter of 2019.They took part in cooking classed at Korea House and 269 staff members from Manulife Insurance Indonesia were entertained by a customized performance that told their story. They also received branded commemorative cookies for using the SMA unique venue.

 

 

 

 

Around 1, 600 employees from Japanese communications company made an expanded return to Seoul . It earlier facilitated a trip for 300 in 2018.

 

 

 

 

An official at Seoul Tourism Organizations said that they saw a strong increase in the number corporate groups visiting Seoul from the Asia-Pacific as a result of our PLUS SEOUL campaign and related ongoing efforts to promote our city as an attractive incentive travel destination.

 

 

 

They anticipated continued growth along this trend for the second half of 2019.
